Q. I have registered but I have not received a VALIDATION EMAIL from you?

A. You should receive this message within seconds of registering?
If you have not received our validation email send perform a Send & Receive if you are using a email software like Microsoft Outlook etc.
If you still have not received our email and you are using anti-spam or junk mail software like Norton Antivirus, Norton's Internet security then please check those folders in your email client. You may also wish to check your ISP's online mailbox as they may have similar filtering.
Finally if you can not find our email then you may have made a typing mistake when entering your email address? After 24 hours if the new account is not validated our system deletes the account and you will be able to try again.
We run this simple check to ensure you will be able to receive enquiries from our website.


Q. I Can Not Sign In?

Check first you are trying to “Sign In” under the Country in which you registered.
Next make sure you are using the correct email address in the E-mail box and that you are entering the correct password.
If you have forgotten or you are not sure of your password there is a link you can click at the bottom of the “Sign In” box

Q. When I click on the “Post Ad – I agree to the Terms & Conditions” button after entering all my information and pictures, Nothing Seems to Happen?
A.
The most likely cause of this issue is normally related to the file size of the pictures you are submitting and the type of internet connection you are using.
For example: If you are using a 56 kbps modem and your uploading three 1 Mb pictures, then it will take around 8 – 10 minutes for the page to change. An average ASDL/Broadband connection would only take around 1 minute for the same pictures.
If your pictures are too large and your internet connection speed is too slow, then this page will timeout and the information you entered will be lost.

There are several ways around this issue:

  1. Try placing your Ad/Listing without any pictures first and when the page changes to the payment page, just click on the “Edit Ad” button along the top! If this works then go onto step 2.
  2. The page should change and show you your ad as a one line title. At the end of your ad there is another “Edit Ad” button. Click on this button and the page will change displaying all you ad/listing details.
  3. At this stage you can change any part of your ad/listing and add the first picture.
  4. Scroll down the page to the Photo One box and click on the Browse button to select the photo/picture you want to upload. Do not add a second or third picture just yet!!
  5. Now you have selected your picture, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Update Ad” Button. This may like before take a while to change, so please be patient. Eventually the page will change and say you have successfully updated your ad/listing and you should now see your first picture?
  6. Now you can add the second picture by clicking on the “Edit Ad” buttons again like before. This time, just scroll down to the Photo Two box and browse for your second picture. Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the “Update Ad” button again. Again, please be patient and you should now have two pictures?
  7. To add your final picture just repeat this last procedure as above, but scroll down to Photo Three and browse for that picture. Click on the “Update Ad” button and fingers crossed you will now have an ad/listing with all three pictures.


Q. When I Change a Picture, I Still See the Small One That I Replaced Next to My Big Pictures?
A. This is not a problem with our website and when you change a picture everyone else can instantly see your new picture. What causes this issue is the way your Internet Browser is working. To speed up you online browsing your PC's Browser stores images locally on your PC that you have seen before for a short period of time .This can range fro m m inutes to hours depending on how it was originally setup!

To Force your PC to Show You the latest Picture/s all you need to do is hold down the key that has Ctrl on it (Bottom Left on your Keyboard normally) and at the same time click on the Internet Browsers Refresh Button (For Microsoft Browsers, it's the two opposite curly green button)


Q. I Can't Select The Sub Category Button to enter the Size and the page gives me an Error?
A. We have tried to make our web site as compatible as we can to support all types of Internet Browsers, but unfortunately we can't cover every one and all the different versions! We know certain versions of the Internet Browser that MAC PC's use will cause this error!
It is sometimes possible to get around this issue by Selecting, say Accessories first and then seeing if there is a drop down list in the sub-category.
If there is then change the Category back to Wedding dresses for example and this may then show all the sizes in the Sub-Category.
Should this not work then please try refreshing the page.

Q. My Ad/Listing is Showing Inactive, How do I Make it Active?
A. When you place an Ad/Listing the page should normally change to the payments page where you can click on the Paypals “Buy Now” button.
When the Button is clicked it should take you to Paypals website with your Ad/Listing number and our information so Paypal can activate your advert automatically for us the second you make payment.
If this did not happen, then it may be down to certain Pop-Up blocking software or Internet security software that you may be using on your PC that is stopping you from leaving our website or as the case may be, being referred/redirected to Paypal.

REASSURANCE NOTE!
We have used Paypals secure system for many years now and when the page changes to Paypal you will see a small gold padlock along the bottom of your browser near the right hand side. If you move your mouse pointer over it, a little box will appear showing this page to be SSL Secured (128 Bit) Double click the Padlock to view the Certificate issued and this will show it has been issued to Paypal and the page you are on is genuine.

To Activate an Ad/Listing Later please follow these steps:
  1. From our homepage click on the flag that covers your Country.
  2. Then Click on the “Edit Ad” button along the top.
  3. If you are not “Signed In” you will need to “Sign In” now
  4. The page should now display your ad/s Listings.
  5. At the end of your one line title click on the “Edit Ad” button for the Ad/Listing that you wish to Activate, Change or Delete.
  6. The page will then change showing all the details just like when you first placed it.
  7. You can now either Delete the Ad/Listing or Make Changes and or ACTIVATE it
  8. Near the top left of this page it will say “This Ad is Not Activated” Activate Now
  9. Just Click on the Blue Underlined “ Activate Now ” and this will take you to Paypal who will Activate your Ad/Listing within seconds of you making payment.
  10. When you return back, you will then your Ad is Live and it can now be viewed by everyone who visits our website.
